We help families make the right decisions before committing to school admissions preparation. We guide you through school choice, suitability, and entrance pathways, drawing on experience to avoid common missteps - whether that's preparing for the wrong exam, focusing on the wrong priorities, or targeting a school that isn't the right fit. The aim is clarity early, so preparation is purposeful rather than reactive.
We're here to help.
Our 11+ tuition is delivered and focused on the specific schools and entrance pathways being targeted. Sessions are structured to address relevant content, exam format, and execution under time pressure, avoiding generic coverage or unnecessary repetition. The emphasis is on efficient preparation that reflects the demands of the actual exam.
Let's get it done.
Specialist focus on 11+ entrance exams — targeting specific 11+ objectives, not general tutoring across multiple age groups or subjects
Consultant-led approach — we guide parents through the 11+ admissions process, tailoring advice for specific schools & individual needs
Direct delivery — we teach every session ourselves; no agencies or subcontracted tutors
Limited intake — allowing us to work closely with families rather than maximising volume
Gemma holds a first-class degree in Primary Education, is QTS qualified, and has taught across primary settings, progressing to assistant headteacher. Her work is grounded in a strong understanding of curriculum expectations, assessment, and how pupils perform under structured academic pressure. A background in contemporary dance informs a disciplined, methodical approach to preparation and focus.
She has worked closely with pupils at different stages of readiness, translating assessment outcomes into clear preparation priorities. This experience underpins a calm, structured approach to guiding families through high-stakes decisions around 11+ preparation.
David holds a first-class degree in Economics and a Teaching Diploma, and was educated within independent and specialist music school environments, including the internationally recognised Purcell School of Music, where disciplined preparation and performance under pressure were central. He has worked as an Education Technology Support Consultant across UK schools and sixth forms, supporting teaching staff, assessment systems, and digital learning infrastructure. Alongside this, he has taught as a class teacher in two UK schools, grounding his work in classroom reality as well as systems-level thinking.
Families come to us at different stages. Some are confident that specialist 11+ tuition is appropriate, while others simply want clarity before committing to preparation for specific schools.
The next step depends on what you're looking for.
If you're unsure which option is most appropriate, an admissions consultation can help clarify the right approach.
